Introduction

Ada Nieves is a renowned certified FIT pet fashion designer, gourmet treats baker and successful events-pawty planner. Runs the largest Chihuahua group in the nation with chapters in Central Florida, Beverly Hills California and the first international chapter in Guatemala. Host her Pet Life Radio talk show:Vida Doggie, writes for the examiner and is a colaborator for Pet Hamptons Magazine.  A native Puerto Rican, strong advocate and active Latina, Ada is constantly breaking ground in the world’s dog community.

She is the official “It ” for exciting pet events in New York City, were she lives with her Husband, Four Chihuahuas and one rescue cat.

In additional to that,  her runway shows include ; NYC Major’s Alliance The Adoptapalooza, Christmas Feet at Bryant Park, Fashion Show for the New England Grooming Expo, Sizoo Barcelona 2005, ABC’s Canine Couture, NYC Canine Cruise , the Queens Pet Fashion Show in NY, Meet The Breeds Pet fashion Shows for both AKC (dogs) & TICA (cats ), Matilda The Algonquin Hotel Cat Benefit events and many more were now include cats and chickens to model. A video of her Rat Fashion Show at the first and only NYC Rat Convention in 2011 went viral and got her national and international attention having her appear at the iconic Late Show with David Letterman.

Her international recognition started when she created the first replicas of celebrity dresses at The Oscars in 2005 for the dogs. Among the designs are copies of Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst and Penelope Cruz gowns that were all auctioned to raise funds for Hurricane Katrina's efforts to save animals by The Washington Square Park friends of the small dog run. 

 One of her pieces from the "Moulin Rouge" collection was featured at both NY and Brazil Pet Fashion Week with amazing reviews.

Ada is also feature in the book "One Nation Under Dog" by Michael Schaffer where he calls her "The Queen of Pet Networking" and a "Connector".

Her USDA certify dog treats are so creative that they have been called Top 10 to have for dogs by shows like K-9 Karma, The Today Show and Forbes.Com.

Have worked as Pet Stylist for epsiodes of 30 Rock, From Underdog to Wonderdog , TV reality show on E!, Ice loves Coco, The Anderson Cooper Tv Show and the re-enactments of most memorable moments of the VMA's for MTV. recently dressing the cats for Kitty break at Puppy Bowl - Animal Planet TV network.
